Schedule a shoot with Amanda
The cost is $1400 and includes the portrait session, a digital copy of the files, the proof sheets and a credit of $220 that you may use towards any of our merchandise. On average, about 180 images are taken. The portraits are shot in both color and black and white. Here is how to schedule your shoot with Amanda:
1. Check the calendar!
To begin scheduling, check our calendar above for upcoming dates and locations.
2. Schedule it!
Contact us with a request to schedule your appointment. You will then receive a confirmation email with information on the location, guidelines for the session and some tips for a successful shoot. A $200 deposit is required to hold a session. The balance ($1200) is due the day of the session.
3. The Shoot!
Sessions usually last an hour and a half. Up to 150 images are taken. We do full body shots, close-ups and, if applicable, action images. You are always invited to join your animal in some of the photographs.
4. Proof It!
After your photographs have been processed, you will receive an online album as well as a package from us in the mail. The package includes ordering instructions, a merchandise sheet, a link to the digital files as well as a set of proof sheets. You will see that we have noted our favorites shots on the proof sheets. However, you know your dog best so the final decision is up to you. The proofs and the digital files are yours to keep.
5. Print it!
Included in the price of your session is a $220.00 print credit that you can use towards your order of prints. It comes out to about five final prints: two 8x8 inch prints and three 5x5 inch prints or one large framed 11x11 inch print. You may always order additional items at any time. Your images are archived and readily available for reprint orders. We also offer framing and matting services, canvas and face mounted plexiglass prints and other customized items such as custom note cards, photo cubes and jewelry.

I just finished looking at the photographs you took of Ruby. Amanda, words can not express how I felt after looking at them. Your photos have shown me just how beautiful, loving, kind, and playful she is. Thank you for that. I will treasure these photos and will have a hard time selecting those that I want to frame. Thank you for writing FAVE on certain ones. That helps tremendously. On my first go round, I've narrowed it down to 145. Let's see what happens on the next go round.

I hope you remember my dear sweet Haley Moose, who you photographed in Dallas. We had to say goodbye to Moose this past Wednesday due to her bone cancer spreading. It was painful for me but the right decision for her. I am so grateful we were able to have a session with you. I hadn’t ordered yet, waiting for this time, so that I can look through all the proofs and really “see” which captured my sweet doggie’s essence. I’ll be ordering soon and will always cherish the memories of my sweet girl’s supermodel session with the fabulous Amanda Jones.

I just wanted to tell you that we are so, so appreciative of your special talent in capturing the personality of our Teddie.
We had to say a peaceful goodbye to our precious golden yesterday and we are so grateful to have her captured so beautifully by you. Her cancer became very aggressive over the last couple of weeks and Teddie let us know it was time in her own special way and showed us her pleasing spirit and unconditional love to the end. We will miss her greatly. We plan on ordering photos soon and will cherish them.

I wanted to let you know that I just received the framed photographs.
They are all GORGEOUS! We are ooo-ing and ahhh-ing over each one. I will be taking three of them to Tokyo as gifts for my parents and in-laws. They will LOVE it. I just love the way the four photos were arranged in the big frame. We will treasure these forever.

The photos of Butch and Baby are wonderful! A bit overwhelming to tell the truth. There are so many good ones. I don't think I've been able to get through them all in one sitting. I've just received your packet and have yet to open it. This is going to be a busy week for me before my surgery. Not to worry, I'll get to the packet at some point, but may not do all my ordering at once.

You took pictures of my dog Opus in Telluride several years ago - 2 weeks ago I had to put him down. As you know, it has been very tough but I wanted to send you an email thanking you so much for the wonderful pictures I have of him. I can't tell you how many times I have pulled them out and looked at all of the proofs in the past two weeks.
You are very talented and have made it easier for me now that he is gone because you really captured his personality in the pictures.
I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart.
